XuJiaHui Academy is located in XuHui District, Shanghai, with two underground levels and three above-ground levels. The academy features an open-space structure and spatial design that integrates the functions of collection, borrowing, reading, and consultation. The first level houses the atrium, children’s area, coffee and tea service, and the general service desk;
The second level is dedicated to the sunlit reading area, document lending area, digital reading area, accessible reading area, and study area, among others;

The third level comprises the special collections area, newspaper and periodical reading area, lecture hall, and discussion area.

The first basement level features the East-West Park·Shanghai-style cultural and creative exhibition and sale area, and the intelligent library;

The second basement level is designated as the parking garage.

The academy is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; it is open from 09:00 to 21:00 from Tuesdays to Sundays; on New Year’s Eve, it is open from 09:00 to 15:00. The children’s area on the first floor and the third floor are open from 09:00 to 17:00. The academy is closed on Mondays, and specific holiday schedules are announced separately.
