The No. 8 Yihe Road Mansion is the only surviving residence among the three Yan Xishan mansions in Nanjing, constructed in 1936. The entire mansion compound faces south, with the main building being a two-story structure that blends Chinese and Western architectural styles, featuring a reinforced concrete framework. The first floor features an open corridor resembling a veranda, while the second floor boasts an open-air balcony. On April 14, 1949, Li Zongren allocated the residence to Yan Xishan, who only stayed for seven days before hastily departing Nanjing by plane on the afternoon of April 22. The mansion is not currently open to the public; only the exterior can be viewed. The specific operating status is subject to the daily opening conditions.
