Yangcha Lake

Yangcha Lake is located at the northern part of Shaoxing City, from the north end of Lintou Village in Lingzhi Street to Pingfengwan in Qilijiang Village.

Originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty, it served as a passage for transportation between the north and south banks, as well as a shelter for boats from wind and waves.

The lake covers an area of 2.25 square kilometers and is one of the larger natural freshwater lakes in the Shaoxing plain.
