The Yanghe Distillery Cultural Tourism Area is located in Yanghe Town, a thousand-year-old brewing town renowned for the reputation of ‘One town can intoxicate the world, and there is no place in China that is not enchanting’. Relying on Yanghe Distillery, a nationally renowned liquor enterprise, while presenting the traditional cultural connotations of Chinese liquor, it focuses on creating a characteristic industrial tourism scenic area with liquor brewing and tasting experience as the core.
In 2006, it was rated as a national industrial tourism demonstration site. In 2015, it was created as a national 4A-level tourist scenic area. The scenic area covers an area of 4.5 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Luoma Lake in the west and Hongze Lake in the east. The ancient Yellow River, the Grand Canal and the Huaihe River surround it. It has the national key cultural relics protection unit – Yanghe underground wine cellar, the national industrial heritage and cultural relics protection unit of Jiangsu Province – Yanghe old cellars group and brewing workshops. At the same time, the famous Beauty Spring Landscape Garden, the large-scale liquor brewing production workshop, the Dream Blue Central Liquor Area that inherits ancient methods, the unique pottery jar wine storage base, and the leading modern packaging and logistics center in the industry and many other scenic spots are located in the scenic area.
