In Shaobo, there are numerous historical sites related to Xie An. Today, Shaobo still has an ancient Gan Tang tree, which is said to have been planted in memory of Xie An’s contributions to water management and building of the dike. Originally, several trees were planted, and only one remains, standing in the courtyard of the ancient patrol office on the main street of the ancient town. The tree is 700 years old.
