The Yao Jianping Embroidery Art Museum is located in Songyuan Garden. It is a building that combines classical garden style with modern facilities. The art museum is divided into five major parts: exhibition hall, embroidery studio, VIP reception room, embroidery sales department, and embroidery art training. It integrates Suzhou embroidery design, production, display, and research. Its function is to continuously inherit and develop innovative Suzhou embroidery art while integrating tourism, shopping, and art training into a new combination form. In the exhibition hall, nearly a hundred masterpieces of Suzhou embroidery painstakingly created by Yao Jianping in the past 20 years are on display. The themes are rich, including traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, pastel paintings, watercolor paintings, photography, ink paintings, and so on. The designs are unique, including single-sided embroidery, double-sided embroidery, three-different embroidery, random stitch embroidery, and fine embroidery. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday all year round, 10:00 – 18:00.
