Yao is the ancestor of the Chinese nation and one of the emperors in the ‘Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors’. Jinhu is the hometown of Emperor Yao. Tajin is the birthplace of Emperor Yao. Yao culture has a long history. Yaoxiangguo Cultural Tourism Area covers a total area of 550 mu and is an immersive cultural experience area. The scenic area takes Yao culture and Yao mother culture as the core, takes the life of Emperor Yao as the main line, and takes the eight ancient sceneries of Tajin as the carrier.
It shows the name of Yao’s mother, praises the great virtue of maternal love, and advocates the merit of family education. It has dozens of areas such as Yao Emperor Square, Ancient Yaocheng Experience Area, Yao Culture Exhibition Hall, Tajin Eight Sceneries Experience Area, Qingdu Raising Yao Experience Area, Wedding Experience Area with Bridal Chamber Candles, and Ancient Children’s Paradise of Yao Emperor. Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies: Children: Free for those under 1.4 meters (inclusive). Elderly: Free for those aged 70 and above (inclusive); elderly people aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (exclusive) can enjoy preferential tickets with valid ID cards. Disabled people: Disabled people and one accompanying person of severely disabled people can enter for free with valid certificates. Military personnel: Active servicemen of the People’s Republic of China and retired military cadres can enter for free. Students: Full-time undergraduate and below students (with student ID cards and valid certificates) can enjoy preferential tickets. Jinhu registered tourists: Jinhu registered tourists can enter for free with their ID cards (except for legal holidays). Third, the scenic area’s general admission ticket includes all outdoor performance projects. Due to limited venue space, the performance of ‘Young Emperor Yao’ requires reservation one day in advance. The following projects are paid services: sightseeing transportation tools (sightseeing cars), 7D cinemas, butterfly museums, ancient magic caves, ancient polar ice and snow worlds, jungle rangers, etc.
Fourth, the scenic area provides paid manual interpretation services. If advanced tour guides, English and other foreign language interpretation services are needed, reservations must be made one day in advance. The scenic area’s official website and major venues provide free voice interpretation and virtual tour guide services (by scanning codes).
Fifth, in accordance with national safety regulations, to ensure safety, if any abnormality or failure occurs during the operation of equipment, it must be shut down for detection and maintenance. In accordance with the regulations of the national safety and technical supervision department, in the case of adverse weather, special weather, and natural disasters that cannot meet the safety of equipment operation (such as thunder, sandstorms, rain and snow, hail, fog, etc.), the park’s equipment and performances will be closed or partially closed without prior notice.
7. When the scenic area carries out important or foreign affairs receptions or special large-scale activities, the operating time of some projects may be changed, or some areas may be closed. Specific times and locations will be based on the announcements of the day. 8. Those who exceed the safety requirements for height or weight, causing safety devices to not close securely, will be refused to ride on related amusement projects. Some experience projects in the scenic area are not suitable for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, pregnant women, spinal and cervical diseases, epilepsy, those with plaster, those with external sutures, those who are dizzy, those with habitual nosebleeds, acrophobia, and those who use anesthetics and alcohol. Those with the above conditions or symptoms, please confirm on your own and choose other suitable projects. Otherwise, if adverse consequences occur, the scenic area will not bear any responsibility.
