Beside the waterfall road, it is hidden among the lush bamboo groves. In the summer of 1936, it was initiated and funded by Huang Fu, Zhang Jingjiang and Zhang Xiaolin. Initially named ‘Mogan Mountain Lecture Hall’, later renamed ‘Lotus Society’ and then ‘Yellow Temple’. It is a place for people coming to the mountain for summer vacation to regularly meditate and chant sutras.
The Yellow Temple has five main rooms. It has a golden glazed tile roof, vermilion eaves, doors and windows carved with colorful pictures of the Eight Immortals, and the exterior walls are decorated with semicircular glass. The structure is grand and spacious, and it is a palace-style building.
