Yi Garden, located at the northeast corner of Lianhua Island on Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou, is a museum that meticulously showcases various aspects of the region’s culture and lifestyle. It features the Fishery Pavilion, Folk Customs Pavilion, Water Town Wedding Pavilion, Yangcheng Clothing Pavilion, and the Historical and Cultural Pavilion. Each pavilion artistically represents different facets of the Jiangnan water towns’ folk customs, offering a comprehensive view of the fully ecological, productive, and lifestyle aspects of Yangcheng Lake, while also recreating the original ecological way of life on Lianhua Island.
Currently, Yi Garden is temporarily closed for business. The specific reopening time will be announced by the scenic area or can be inquired by calling the scenic spot. The original opening hours were from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
