The Yida Silk House workshop area comprehensively showcases every step from sericulture, silkworm rearing, cocoon collection to silk reeling, and brocade weaving. You can personally operate on the ancient silk reeling machines, and also witness the national treasure-level Wu Jin brocade crafting process. The selection of materials for weaving is special, and the craftsmanship is extremely complex, which can be described as ‘an inch of brocade is worth an inch of gold’.
