Yingdong Ecological Village is located at the eastern tip of Chongming Island, being one of the earliest villages on the island to welcome the sunrise. The village is surrounded by greenery, with fish ponds arranged in an orderly fashion, offering a beautiful natural environment and simple folk customs, making it a rational destination for tourism and relaxation. It features attractions such as the Village History Exhibition Hall, Fishing Tools Museum, Bird Watching Pavilion, and the Statue of Chongming Island Spirit, as well as activities like tasting fisherman’s dishes, cockfighting, sheep fighting, mud fishing, boating fishing, riverbank sightseeing, and fisherman’s joy. Operating hours are from 07:30 to 16:30 all year round.
