Yingtai’s Hometown: Zhujiazhuang

Yingtai’s Hometown, Zhujiazhuang, is located in the central part of Shangyu City, in the northwest of Fenghui Town, 9 kilometers away from the urban area of Shangyu. It is the hometown of Zhu Yingtai, the protagonist in the classic love story of ‘Liang Zhu’. The scenic area spans from the canal at the entrance of the village in the east to Qinglong Mountain in the west, connects to Yu River in the south, and is backed by Fengting Mountain in the north, with a planned total area of approximately 2.84 square kilometers (equivalent to 4264 acres). The area is being developed according to the national AAAA-level scenic area standards. By deeply excavating the cultural connotations of the scenic area, in conjunction with the overall tourism plan of Shangyu City and the village planning of Zhujiazhuang, the focus is on developing and constructing the core area to showcase the Liang Zhu culture, creating cultural leisure products, and establishing a distinctive tourism image. The goal is to transform Yingtai’s Hometown into a rural tourist destination with unique cultural characteristics, becoming an important node on the tourism line of Shangyu and its surrounding areas.
