Yingzhou Park is located at the southeast end of Chongming County town, opposite Chongming Xuegong. It covers an area of 43,900 square meters. Yingzhou Park was built in 1983 and named Yingzhou Park in 1984. The park is adjacent to the Yangtze River in the south. In the north, it faces Yingzhou Square, Xuegong (Confucian Temple), and the museum across the road. It is a comprehensive park. Yingzhou Park mainly features plant landscaping and is appropriately equipped with garden architecture.


In the center of the park, there is a Xinghu Lake with an area of about 4,700 square meters and a Xingdao in the lake. The main ring road is built around the lake. Along the lake, there are buildings such as Viewing Fish and Admiring Scenery, Linbo Pavilion, and Polang Bridge. Along the Yangtze River in the south of the park, there are scenes such as Qinfeng Pavilion and Yunwei Hanbi Corridor. The main scenic spots in Yingzhou Park include Heishan Mountain, Canghai Pavilion, Linbo Pavilion, Viewing Fish and Admiring Scenery, Youxiang Pavilion, Polang Bridge, large rockery, waterfall, etc.


There are many tree species in Yingzhou Park, with a total of 119 species and 3,938 trees. And they are all independently mixed into gardens (forests). For example, the Osmanthus Garden covering an area of 1,000 square meters is full of fragrance in every golden autumn October. Opening hours: From April 1 to October 31, 5:30 – 17:30. Admission stops at 17:15. From November 1 to March 31 of the following year, 5:30 – 17:00.
