Yixiantian is located in Huaguoshan Mountain. It is similar in artistic conception to the Seventy-two Caves. It is a scenic spot composed of many huge stones and caves. In ancient times, it was called ‘A thread of sky’ and ‘Cave paradise on the stone wall’. The main scenery of Yixiantian is two stones dozens of meters high supporting each other, forming a narrow passage in the middle. When people walk in it, they can see a line of blue sky exposed above. White clouds flow by in a hurry, presenting a strange and interesting scene. When exploring the caves in Yixiantian, the path loops around and connects everywhere. It goes up and down, appears and disappears suddenly. Only the voices of people can be heard but no one can be seen. In midsummer, it feels like autumn and the summer heat disappears completely. Looking at Yixiantian from the mountainside in the distance, here is the famous Bajie Stone. It is very much like an old pig wearing a monk’s hat sleeping soundly among the green trees. Below Yixiantian is the cliff inscription of the mountain name of Huaguoshan. Tourists all love to take photos here. The green mountains and red characters are very magnificent. There are also natural steles, inkstones and other landscapes here. Following the path, you can reach the Ink Fragrance Path, where the works of more than a hundred contemporary famous calligraphers are engraved on natural stones. You can also reach the Strange Stone Garden to see all kinds of pictographic stones related to Journey to the West. The ‘God’ character king is under the Bald Dragon Ditch in the east. It is the cursive ‘God’ character by Huai Su engraved on the mountain body. It is 39.4 meters long and 15.8 meters wide. It is a relatively large single Chinese character in the world and was included in the Guinness World Records in 1996. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:30.
