Yong’an Zen Temple is located in Jiangyin City. According to the ‘Jiangyin Chronicles’, it is one of the earliest three monasteries in Jiangyin. Initially constructed in the second year of the Taikang era during the Western Jin Dynasty, it was named Yong’an Monastery. In the Ming Dynasty, during the 13th year of the Chenghua era and the 19th year of the Wanli era, the damaged halls were repaired twice. From the 18th to the 22nd year of the Wanli era, a comprehensive renovation of Yong’an Temple was carried out.
