Yuansheng Temple is located at No. 146, Gengzi Street, Ganquan Road, Guangling District, Yangzhou City. The temple complex consists of four distinct sections:
The first section is the Mountain Gate Hall, a two-story building with five rooms on both the upper and lower floors, featuring three main entrances, with a stone plaque inscribed with ‘Yuansheng Temple’ above the central gate. Opposite the gate, there is a screen wall, and a pair of stone lions are placed in front of the entrance; The second section houses the Mahavira Hall, with three additional rooms on each side in front of the hall; The third section is the Sutra Pavilion, with four rooms on both the upper and lower levels, connected by passageways, and two additional rooms on each side; The fourth section comprises three rooms with upturned eaves, with a passageway-equipped rear door on each side of the hall.
