Yuanxiang Hall is a four-sided pavilion and serves as the central structure of the Humble Administrator’s Garden, built on the site of the original Ruo Shu Hall during the Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong period. The bluestone foundation is an original element from that time. The name of the hall is derived from lotus flowers. In summer, the lotus leaves in the pond spread out, and the fragrance of the lotus flowers wafts through the air, making it an ideal spot for appreciating lotus blossoms. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the garden’s daily operations.
