Yuanyang Temple, originally built during the Tang Dynasty, boasts a rich history.
Situated on the main slope of the mountain, Yuanyang Temple presents a majestic and elegant appearance with a pleasant scenery.
Inside the temple, there are various scenic spots such as the Taiyuan Hall, Stone Archway, Ancestor Hall, Lingying Hall, Yudao Hall, Dishi Hall, I Ching Pavilion, and Release Pond,
where deities like the Sanmao Zhenjun, founder of Maoshan, various Taoist sects, and folk’s Ciji are worshipped.
Opening hours: January 1st to May 31st from 07:30 to 16:30;
September 1st to October 31st from 07:30 to 16:30;
June 1st to August 31st from 08:00 to 16:00;
November 1st to December 31st from 08:00 to 16:00.
