Yucun is located on the west side of Tianhuangping Town, Anji, the bamboo township. It is the location of the bamboo sea scenic area of the provincial-level Tianhuangping scenic spot. The village area is 4.86 square kilometers and there are 8 villager groups under its jurisdiction. The village area extends from east to west, with high in the north and low in the south. Surrounded by mountains and with continuous beautiful bamboos, the vegetation coverage rate is as high as 96%. It has a particularly good mountain microclimate. The unique natural environment has given birth to Yucun’s long history and culture and created magical natural landscapes. In the village, there is the Longqing Zen Temple, a thousand-year-old ancient temple built in the Later Liang period of the Five Dynasties. There is a thousand-year-old ancient tree known as the ‘King of Ginkgo in Jiangnan’. There are centenarian fish known as ‘living fossils’. There are also ancient industrial and mining sites and cave landscapes waiting to be uncovered.
