The Yudong Old Street has a history of 650 years. The entire street still completely preserves 2146 flagstone streets, which are about 846 meters long. The bottom of the flagstones is a sewer. In ancient times, it also had the function of a hidden troop cave. The waterway passes through the city to the moat. There are still abundant historical remains preserved around the old street. Among them, Dongyue Temple, Bao’an Bridge, Sister Wells, the former residence of martial arts successful candidates in imperial examinations, Zhang’s private school, and Fan’s residence are all cultural relic protection units of Haimen City. Opening hours: open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
