Yunhu Tea Expo Garden

Yunhu Tea Expo Garden, located 10 kilometers southwest of Yixing in the hilly area, boasts a beautiful and ecological environment. It is in close proximity to scenic spots such as the Buddha Light Ancestral Temple, Tianmu Lake, Nanshan Bamboo Sea, Nanshan Drifting, Yu Shu Hot Spring, Han Tian Ban Shan Hot Spring, Shan Juan Cave, Tai Chi Cave, Longchi Mountain Bicycle Park, and Yixing Bamboo Sea, all within a 15-minute drive. The Yunhu Tea Expo Garden is composed of four major functional areas: Yunhu Sightseeing, Tea Garden Experience, Bamboo Sea and Pine Waves, and Tea Culture Museum.


Yunhu Sightseeing: A 30-square-kilometer pure drinking water lake, visitors can take a sightseeing vehicle or a bicycle tour around the lake, enjoying the breeze and sunshine, and experiencing the ink painting-like Yunhu with zero distance, featuring ‘distant mountains, nearby waters, ancient trees, and beautiful islands’.


Tea Garden Experience: A thousand-acre tea garden situated by the mountains and lakes, layered and tiered, allows visitors to immerse themselves in tea picking, tea making, and tea tasting, escaping the hustle and bustle and returning to their childhood.


Bamboo Sea and Pine Waves: Climbing the Bamboo Sea Cloud Ladder, listening to the murmur of the stream, and absorbing negative oxygen ions; ‘Ling Xu Pavilion, Viewing Platform, and Guan Xin Pavilion’ are places to appreciate bamboo, listen to the waves, and enjoy the scenic views of Yunhu.


Tea Culture Museum: Currently one of the largest in China, utilizing multi-dimensional technology, it demonstrates Chinese tea culture and Yixing history across seven exhibition areas, integrating tea art performances, pottery bar interactions, cultural dissemination, and academic research. It features tea houses in three different styles, including ‘British Pavilion’ and ‘Japanese Pavilion’, for visitors to rest and enjoy tea.


Opening Hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 16:30.


Preferential Policies: Children: Free for children under 1.4 meters (inclusive) or under 6 years old (inclusive); half price for children between 1.4 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive) or under 18 years old (exclusive) with valid identification. Elderly: Free for elderly over 70 years old (inclusive) with valid identification; half price for elderly between 60 years old (inclusive) and 69 years old (inclusive) with valid identification. Military: Free for active-duty officers with valid identification. Students: Students can purchase discounted tickets at the scenic spot with a student ID.
