Yunlong Lake is located in the center of the urban area. To the east of the lake is Yunlong Mountain. To the south of the lake is Zhushan Mountain. To the west of the lake are Xiaochangshan Mountain and Woniushan Mountain. Within the scenic area, the lake is vast and the mountains are lush and green. Since ancient times, it has attracted many travelers. Su Shi, a litterateur in the Northern Song Dynasty, was fond of this lake when he was the magistrate of Xuzhou.
Nowadays, in the East Lake tourist area of Yunlong Lake, water activities and sightseeing are the main activities. The West Lake tourist area is mainly for convalescence and vacation. The south part of the lake is mainly for entertainment and hotels. There are also children’s water parks, beach baths, and a swimming area for tens of thousands of people. Xiaonanhu Scenic Area: In the Xiaonanhu Scenic Area, there are one pool, two islands, three pavilions and five gardens. The water surface of the entire scenic area is exquisite and the scenery is arranged around the lake. The main landscapes are the guild halls and art gardens with the characteristics of ‘Jiangnan gardens’, water towns, small bridges and flowing water, famous gardens with flowing fragrance, and lotus ponds with fish and lotus roots, forming the characteristics of Chinese classical humanities and natural landscapes of ‘a quiet lake and a secluded garden’. Aquatic World: Located on the island in the center of Yunlong Lake, it consists of an aquarium, an ocean theater, an ocean rare specimen museum, and a 4D dynamic movie. The seven themed exhibition areas of the aquarium display more than 10,000 precious fish species of more than 200 kinds from all over the world. Being in it is like diving into a confusing underwater world. Binhu Park: Located on the north bank of Yunlong Lake, it is adjacent to Yunlong Mountain in the east, Hanshan Mountain in the west, Yunlong Lake in the south, and Binhu green space in the north. It is a belt-shaped ecological garden park and there is a swimming area for tens of thousands of people. Binhu Xintiandi: Located on the north embankment of Yunlong Lake, it is composed of a citizen square, a pedestrian street and an art gallery. It is a modern urban lakeside ecological leisure and cultural place integrating functions such as leisure, entertainment, catering, and shopping. Nanshui Street: Originally named Nanhu Bieyuan, it is located on the peninsula in the Xiaonanhu Scenic Area. It is adjacent to the beautiful Yunlong Lake in the north and faces the undulating Yunlong Mountain in the east. The simple and elegant white walls and black tiles are in harmony with the natural landscape surrounded by clear water, presenting an elegant scenery. The main construction content is divided into two parts. One part is a business club, and the other part is an enterprise club. It is a holiday, catering, and leisure and entertainment consumption block integrating culture, entertainment, and appreciation.
