Yuntai Pavilion is an antique-style architectural pavilion, featuring characteristics of Song and Yuan dynasty ancient constructions, located on the northern peak of Yuntai Mountain. The total construction area is 1800 square meters, making it one of the largest ancient buildings in the history of Zhenjiang. It is composed of a pavilion, hall, and other structures, forming a complex with a varied and dynamic silhouette.

During the construction of Yuntai Pavilion, a pair of ancient architectural column bases were discovered, approximately 1 meter in diameter. Experts, based on the characteristics of column bases from different eras, believe these to be relics of Yuan dynasty architecture.

Ascending to Yuntai Pavilion offers a panoramic view of the surrounding Zhenjiang landscapes: Jinshan, Jiaoshan, and Beigushan, with the Nanshan and other mountains encircling, Beihu Lake and the Yangtze River stretching out, providing a vista that encompasses both the old and new districts of Zhenjiang, all in one glance. Yuntai Mountain, Jinshan, Beigushan, and Jiaoshan complement and highlight each other.

The construction of Yuntai Pavilion as a landmark of Zhenjiang showcases the prosperity of a golden age and reveals an important tourist attraction that adds to the rich historical and cultural tourism resources of Zhenjiang’s landscapes.
