Yushan Archipelago is located about twenty nautical miles southeast of Shicheng, with islands and reefs scattered like chess pieces and numerous hidden reefs, all surrounded by crystal clear waters.
It lies at the convergence of the north and south ocean currents, rich in fish, shellfish, and algae, making it one of the top fishing spots in Asia. Yushan Archipelago is divided into South Yushan and North Yushan, with North Yushan commonly referred to as Yushan.
Air raid shelters are visible everywhere on the island, and the attractions include a lighthouse, Immortal’s Bridge, Broken City Top, and fishing villages. On nights with many tourists, bonfire parties and barbecues are also held, making it an ideal place for leisure, vacation, sea fishing, swimming, and camping.
