Yuanxiang Small Town is located in Miaoxi Town, Wuxing District, 12 kilometers west of the city center of Huzhou, and is the core scenic area of the Wuxing Xisaishan Provincial Tourism Resort. It is also a AAAA scenic spot in East China themed around sports and adventure. The town is laid out according to the ‘one hall, two parks, and five areas’ plan. It features the largest butterfly breeding, viewing, release, and science education facility in Asia in an ecological science museum; it boasts a thousand-acre Yingzhou Mei Garden, where from late winter to early spring, one can stroll along the thousand-year-old wooden sightseeing plank road built against the mountainside and witness a sea of blooming flowers, a spectacular and beautiful sight.
Additionally, there are participatory, experiential, and cultural landscapes such as Tongxin Tongqu Garden, Yuanxiang Lake, Jiyuan Flower Field, Nongmeng Honey, and Yuanxiang Farm. The phrase ‘egrets flying in front of Xisaishan’ refers to this very place. Inside the Yuanxiang Small Town scenic area, you can experience a 288-meter drop and cool 5D glass bridge, paragliding, jungle off-road vehicles, glass slides, rainbow sliding, high-standard horse farms, and a fairy tale train with a track about 1500 meters long.
