Zhang Liang’s Tomb Stele was discovered in 1983 during the cleaning of the Yellow River’s old course, located 8 meters underground southeast of the Ba Zi Street Bridge. The stele is well-preserved, with the inscription ‘Tomb Path of Han Liu Hou Zhang Gong, styled Zi Fang’. It was erected by Lu Shiwang, the governor of Xuzhou under the jurisdiction of Zhili during the Ming Dynasty, in the 18th year of the Jiajing era. After its unearthing, it has been housed in the Xuzhou Museum.
