Zhanggongshan Park

Zhanggongshan Park is located in the southwest of Bengbu City. With a total area of 72 hectares, it is a relatively large park in the city. Construction began in 1973 and it was officially put into use in 1983. The park is composed of Zhanggongshan Mountain and Huapi Lake. There is an island in the lake. The landscape in the park complements each other, presenting a beautiful scenery. The lakeshore is winding and lined with weeping willows.


On the hillside, there are green pines and cypresses, and the winding paths lead to secluded places. At the top of the mountain stands the Huaiwang Tower. In the eastern part of the park, there are cruise ship docks, Mid-mountain Teahouse, water restaurants, waterside corridors, etc. There is also a garden within a garden in the style of Suzhou gardens, which contains the Huaihe Stele Forest and restaurants.


In the southeast corner of the park, there is a children’s palace, which contains scenic walls, rockeries, flower beds, etc. In the western part of the park, there is a zoo. On the west side of the north gate of the park, there is a children’s amusement park, with sculptures such as ‘Naughty Child’ and ‘Spring Rain’. Opening hours: Open all year round from 8:00 to 17:00.
