The Zhangjiagang Museum is located on Gangcheng Avenue. It is one of the science popularization education bases in Suzhou City and an important place for local science popularization education. It opened in September 1999 and has held rich science popularization exhibitions to popularize scientific knowledge. The museum currently has a 2,000-square-meter science and technology exhibition hall, which is specially used to display various science popularization exhibitions, such as ‘Large-scale Natural Specimen Exhibition’, ‘Large-scale Marine Rare Biological Science Popularization Exhibition’, ‘Large-scale Paleontological Dinosaur Fossil and Butterfly Specimen Exhibition’, etc.


The museum houses a number of precious mineral specimens and models. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday all year round, open from 08:30 to 17:00; closed all day on Monday all year round. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
