The site of the Mazhang Battalion Headquarters in the anti-French struggle of Zhanjiang people is located in the Wudi Temple. The 250 brave soldiers repelled the invasion of the French army many times with the support of other battalions. Especially in the ‘Dongju’ battle, it was relatively fierce.
