Zhengqi Pavilion is located on the eastern shore of Zixia Lake, in front of Zixia Cave, and situated between the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. The pavilion is a square structure with double eaves and flying corners, topped with blue glazed tiles, a foundation made of Suzhou granite, large red pillars, and painted beams, all of which contribute to its resplendent and magnificent appearance.
Behind the pavilion, a granite retaining wall features a stone tablet inscribed with ‘The Record of Zhengqi Pavilion,’ written by Sun Ke. The pavilion is open to the public all year round, with full-day access.
