Zhenguo Temple is a temple located on an island in the middle of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. After enduring the ravages of time and elements, the original temple no longer stands, leaving behind a solitary white pagoda, which is a significant relic and a treasure of great importance, considered a paragon among ancient artifacts. The quaint and dignified Zhenguo Temple Pagoda stands tall on the isolated island, looking especially beautiful when bathed in the glow of the setting sun. When visiting Gaoyou, in addition to exploring the long-standing Yucheng Post Station, also make sure to pay respects to the Buddha and appreciate the grandeur of Zhenguo Temple. It is open all year round from 06:00 to 17:00.
