The academy is divided into a front hall and a back hall. The front hall is dedicated to the worship of Zheng Xuan and Zhu Xi.
The back hall serves as the lecture hall, which is the core part of the academy. In the center of the lecture hall, there is a podium where ancient teachers used to teach. A redwood carved flower chair is placed on it, which is used for the academy’s headmaster.
