Zhenjiang Mi Fu Calligraphy Park is located in the northeast of Shi Li Changshan Cultural Park in Dan Tu New City, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 40.5 hectares. The park is planned to have a total construction area of 10,000 square meters, which is divided into four major functional areas based on the natural characteristics and landscape features of the site: Calligraphy Experience Area, Calligraphy Exhibition Area, Calligraphy Teaching and Research Area, and Cultural Leisure Area.
Throughout the park, one can find people immersed in the garden, spirit in the calligraphy, painting in the stele, and emotions in the tour. Visitors can enjoy the art of Mi’s calligraphy and painting while experiencing a sensory journey through time and space, as if they are conversing with the master, blending with the natural landscape, and communicating with their soul. Mi Fu, a famous calligrapher, connoisseur, and art theorist of the Northern Song Dynasty, lived in Dan Tu for forty years. To commemorate this artistic giant with historical ties to Dan Tu, the Mi Fu Calligraphy Park was established. Zhenjiang Mi Fu Calligraphy Park boasts historical depth, cultural height, and humanistic thickness. It is a cultural park that promotes Mi Fu’s calligraphic art as its core value, focuses on humanistic care, and uses landscape culture as a medium. It integrates functions such as exhibition, creation, exchange, study, training, and leisure. It is also the core base for the external dissemination and radiation of Mi Fu’s calligraphy culture and a modern service industry base that combines cultural, leisure, and cultural tourism industries. Opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies: Children: Children aged 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.4 meters (inclusive) in height are admitted free of charge. Elderly: Elderly people aged 70 years old (inclusive) and above (with valid ID) are admitted free of charge. Disabled: People with valid identification are admitted free of charge. Active military personnel: With valid identification, they are admitted free of charge. Retired cadres: With valid identification, they are admitted free of charge.
