The former site of the British Consulate at Zhenjiang Museum is a group of modern architectural remains with important historical, scientific and artistic value. It is not only a witness of history but also a cultural business card of Zhenjiang City, attracting many tourists to visit and learn.


[Cultural Value] In 1962, the former site of the British Consulate in Zhenjiang began to be used as the site of Zhenjiang Museum. In 1982, it was announced as a modern historical site and revolutionary memorial building by Jiangsu Province. In 1996, it was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council.


Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year from 09:00 to 17:00; Closed all day on Monday throughout the year. For legal holidays, please refer to the real-time notice.
