Zhu Mountain Lake is a bay located in the northwest corner of Taihu Lake. It is connected to the Wuxi Mashan Tourism Resort in the east and the Yixing Du Bian Agricultural Sightseeing Area in the west, with the lush Qinhuang Mountain at its back. According to the historical text ‘Yue Jue Shu’: Qinhuang Mountain is where King Goujian of Yue buried King Fuchai of Wu. Zhu Mountain Lake Town is situated at the foot of Qinhuang Mountain, by the lakeside of Zhu Mountain Lake, facing the vast and misty Taihu Lake to the south.
