Zijin Park

Zijin Park is located in the Northeast of Changzhou, within the Creative Industry Park, at the intersection of Bamboo North Road and the 120th meridian East Avenue, covering an area of 20.15 hectares (approximately 302 acres). It is one of the larger rose-themed parks in Changzhou. Zijin Park highlights two distinctive features. The first feature is that Zijin Park will use the 120th meridian East, a geographical characteristic, as the theme for its construction.

The 120th meridian East is the baseline for ‘Beijing Time,’ and Changzhou is a prefecture-level city that the meridian passes through. Based on this characteristic, the 120th meridian East is used as the main landscape axis of the park. Additionally, this axis is the main landscape axis of eastern Changzhou, connecting Zijin Park, the 120th meridian East scenic avenue, and the China Dinosaur Park, together forming a tourism route that integrates travel, ecology, and science popularization.

The second feature is that Zijin Park was designated as the main venue for the Fourth China Rose Exhibition and the 2010 World Federation of Rose Societies Regional Conference, and has been developed into a personalized rose specialty garden. The park is open all year round, with full-day access.
