Zijing Park is located in the Creative Industry Park in the northeast of Changzhou, at the intersection of Zhulin North Road and 120° east longitude avenue. Covering an area of 20.15 hectares (about 302 mu), it is a relatively large rose-themed park in Changzhou. Zijing Park highlights two major characteristics. One major characteristic is that Zijing Park takes the geographical feature of the 120° east longitude meridian as the construction theme.
The 120° east longitude meridian is the reference meridian for ‘Beijing time’. Changzhou is a prefecture-level city through which this meridian passes. According to this feature, the 120° east longitude meridian is used as the main landscape axis of the park. At the same time, this axis is also the main landscape axis in the east of Changzhou. It connects Zijing Park, the 120° east longitude landscape avenue, and China Dinosaur Park together, jointly building a tourist route integrating tourism, ecology, and popular science. The second major characteristic is that Zijing Park has been determined as the main venue for the 4th China Rose Exhibition and the 2010 Regional Conference of the World Federation of Rose Societies, and has been built into a personalized rose special garden.
