Special concert commemorating the fifth anniversary of the release of THE BOOTLEGSS’ debut album.
In the spring of 2019, Zhao Hong recorded seven rough pop songs with his mobile phone. Later, he called a few friends and decided to form a band together. They recorded an album to commemorate their youthful days. Since then, they are no longer small hooligans wandering the streets. Instead, they have a new name called THE BOOTLEGSS. The album that records youth, summer, midnight, and palpitating heartbeats is named ‘I Feel Good’.
In 2021, THE BOOTLEGSS completed the first round of their band’s tour with difficulties. They then realized that after playing in a band for three years and accumulating 22 songs, performing all of them still couldn’t fill up 80 minutes. It’s very worthy of reflection. Maybe the songs are just too short!
Setting off again is in 2023, a journey as long as an epic and as beautiful as a dream. Throughout the summer and autumn, they are on the road. In four months, they performed 70 shows. It was very tiring and wild, full of countless beautiful moments that they want to relive.
In a flash, five years have passed. Every time they think of those shining days in the spring and summer of 2019, their heartbeats still unconsciously speed up. They decided to replicate the passion and touch of the spring and summer of 2019 once again.
