Qicai Xiongjia Gully Scenic Area is an investment attraction project initiated by the Huangbai Township People’s Government in Wanzhou District, Chongqing in 2013. The area has undergone preliminary river regulation, construction of new tourist sightseeing roads, secondary reservoirs, steep slope slides, high-altitude glass bridges, heart-stopping suspension bridges, cliff swings, aerial bicycles, water pedal boats, internet-famous expansion areas, ecological rafting, outdoor Mongolian yurts, and cliff dwellings, forming a preliminary eco-tourism scenic area based on Xiongjia Gully, with the first phase already in trial operation; the second and third phases are being accelerated…
Xiongjia Gully is located in the third giant uplift zone of the Xinhuaxia system. The scenic area features crisscrossing gullies, mountain springs converging into streams, vast forests on the mountain, towering ancient trees, rare flowers and plants in the mountains, and birds singing joyfully. The forest is colorful and profound, making people feel relaxed and harmonious, peaceful and indifferent, with the soul blending with nature.
Main attractions in the scenic area include: High-altitude Glass Bridge: 104 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 98 meters high, the first high-altitude glass bridge in Northeast Chongqing. Heart-Stopping Suspension Bridge: 101 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, and 98 meters high, the first high-altitude suspension bridge in Northeast Chongqing. Cliff Swings: 12 meters, 10 meters, and 8 meters high, 110 meters above the valley bottom, the highest cliff swings in Wanzhou District. Aerial Bicycle: 98 meters long and 18 meters high. The scenic area is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
