The official opening of the Famous Trees Garden in Zhongshan has added a splendid new scenic spot to the city, becoming a popular destination for families with children.
Featuring distinctive landscapes of Zhongshan, the garden encompasses famous trees and ancient woods, artificial mountains and cascading waters, pavilions and corridors, small bridges over flowing streams, micro-terrains, and mist sprays, all contributing to a fresh and natural garden environment.
Over a thousand varieties of trees characteristic of Zhongshan are planted within the garden, with a focus on showcasing the charm of local famous trees and ancient woods. The planted species include agarwood, podocarpus, autumn maple, mountain pine, kapok, ficus microcarpa, and others.
The park is filled with a variety of plant species, each labeled to enhance visitors’ knowledge about plants. The environment is very beautiful, and in the evening, people of all ages come here to stroll, chat, and take photos. Many also find a quiet corner to read a book or contemplate, enjoying a peaceful moment.
