Guoguo Yongning Zen Temple, originally established in the sixth year of the Tang Wude period, has a history of over 1300 years and was one of the thirty-six famous temples of that time.

Historically, the temple has been a beacon for eminent monks and has withstood the vicissitudes of history. Unfortunately, it was destroyed in 1938 due to war.

In early 1993, the decision was made to rebuild Yongning Temple at a new location within Huancheng Village, Tinghu District. After reconstruction, the temple has essentially regained its original scale, reviving the Buddhist scene of the past, with the daily sound of morning bells and evening drums, and the clear resonance of chanting.

In recent years, Yongning Temple has welcomed Buddhist figures from various regions and countless domestic pilgrims. It has become a popular destination for tourism and worship.
