The Liushuwan scenic area is an ecological park integrating protection, popular science, and leisure. Every year, the ‘Peach and Pear Blossom Scenery Flower Appreciation Festival’ is held in the scenic area. Among citizens and tourists, it has a reputation as ‘there is Botchi Mountain in the east and Liushuwan in the west’. The upgraded Liushuwan scenic area extends from Xi’an Road in the east, to West Jiankang Road in the south, to the Ancient Yellow River in the north, and to the Ninth Middle School in the west, covering an area of about 1200 mu and serving as urban public green space.

There were originally more than 20,000 pear trees, peach trees, willow trees, etc., and more than 200,000 other trees and shrubs. When spring arrives and flowers are in full bloom, it is a magnificent sight with colorful flowers competing for beauty and lush grass. In autumn, the branches are full of fruits. To improve the open landscape of the Liushuwan scenic area, an expansion was later carried out.

About 100,000 square meters of lawn were laid in the scenic area, about 160,000 square meters of self-propagating flowers and perennial flowers were planted. Large-sized seedlings and trees such as magnolia grandiflora and Celtis sinensis were planted, as well as flowering shrubs. Garbage cans, benches, street lamps, and various warning signs were also added. Through renovation, the Liushuwan scenic area has been transformed into a natural horticultural sightseeing garden with different views at every step.

Opening hours: Open all year round from 7:00 to 18:00.
