At any stage of life, we often have words we wish to say but never do, for various reasons. Functionally, these unsaid words could be pivotal in our lives, yet it’s impossible to predict whether they will lead to positive or negative outcomes, so we should not dwell on their purpose. Emotionally, however, these unspoken words inevitably become a source of regret, turning into sighs every time they are recalled. Therefore, Diagonal Alley’s ‘Words Unspoken’ national tour is initiated with the principle of ‘leaving no regrets,’ aiming to convey our thoughts and feelings to you as much as possible. We also hope that after watching our performance, you will be able to express those ‘words you wanted to say’ that are buried in your heart, as these emotions, regardless of their nature, should ultimately be communicated.

This tour coincides with Diagonal Alley’s 10th anniversary. Although we can no longer remember the exact day the band was officially formed, we are certain it was a cold December night in 2014 when the three university classmates (lead vocalist Yifen, guitarist Shihua, and bassist Six Lines) met and founded the band at a school music club, also waiting for the band’s perfect fourth piece—the drummer Tianhelong. The four of them have been together through years of honing, and we will be in our best form to meet this extraordinary tour.

In this tour, we will reveal our decade-long journey through song arrangements, VJ, and stage design, sharing the stories we’ve experienced over the past ten years. We also look forward to hearing your stories with Diagonal Alley and what you have always wanted to tell us but haven’t.

We have prepared a special 10th-anniversary merchandise, meticulously designed with attention to detail to commemorate the significant events of Diagonal Alley over the past decade, which is definitely worth looking forward to! Of course, there will be more new band merchandise, all of which are in production and will be announced in due course. Although this tour begins in winter, as we always say, there is only one season for Diagonal Alley’s live performances, and that is midsummer! We look forward to seeing you in various places.
