Beitou Film and Television City is located in Nangong, Yinghai Township, Daxing County, 20 kilometers away from the city center, covering an area of 300,000 square meters. It is a multi-functional large-scale film and cultural city that integrates tourism, film shooting, and film studies. It is the third major film city to rise after the Wuxi and Zhuozhou film cities of China Central Television, with a main architectural style of Ming and Qing dynasties.

The city features ancient structures such as the Dream of the Red Chamber Garden and Beitou Temple, as well as traditional folk cultural activities like Mongolian tea tents, Tianqiao performers, disguised flower festivals, and embroidered ball blessings. Additionally, the Ming and Qing ancient town with three streets and one village, the calligraphy and painting academy, the pottery museum, and the three gardens of pine, bamboo, and plum further highlight the traditional Chinese cultural characteristics.

Beitou Film and Television City boasts over 20 scenic areas and more than 50 attractions, including a temple commemorating the author of Dream of the Red Chamber, Cao Xueqin. Every year in early April, Beitou Film and Television City hosts a grand flower festival competition, featuring various folk art performances such as lion dancing and dragon boat racing.
