E03 Gallery’s new exhibition, featuring artists Hattie Stewart and Marylou Faure, titled ‘Hello, Mon Amie!’, will be showcased in Hangzhou’s gallery space from October 1st to December 10th, 2024. This exhibition continues the vibrant colors of summer, bringing the artists’ bold and whimsical works to the audience in Hangzhou.
The theme of the exhibition is inspired by Marylou’s work ‘Love My Friends’, which also represents the long-standing friendship between the two artists. The exhibition aims to convey the emotions of the artists’ works through the narrative of the exhibition, bringing the beauty of female friendship and the power of embracing oneself to the audience. Emotions and moods remain the main topics of exploration in this exhibition. Hattie’s work showcases complex topics such as sensory overload and inner anxiety with a strong visual impact. Marylou’s work, on the other hand, delicately displays an emotional trajectory from self-motivation to inspiration from others, to escaping reality and reshaping oneself. The richness and complexity of emotions are given new meaning in the process of self-discovery and building friendships. We hope that after visiting the exhibition, the audience can experience healing for the soul, feel joy and boundless imagination in the colorful patterns and dreamy worlds created by the artists, and thus more firmly accept themselves and enjoy the beauty of life.
