Xingchen Mountain is located in Anmin Township, Songyang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, approximately 40 kilometers away from the county seat. It covers an area of 1043 acres with an average altitude of 1000 meters. The night sky environment is exceptionally advantageous, and the stargazing conditions meet the international Dark Sky Park Silver Standard. It is listed as a star-gazing scenic spot in the first batch of ‘Weather and Climate Landscape Viewing Places’ announced by the China Meteorological Service Association (referred to as ‘CMSA’).
The overall planning of the Xingchen Mountain project is divided into the Astronomical Pasture area, which is mainly for professional stargazing observation; the three fields of Starry Sky Campsite area; the first phase of leisure and health area; and the second phase of health and vacation area. It is a comprehensive cultural and tourism project with themes of astronomy, integrating stargazing observation, astronomical science popularization, leisure and health, outdoor recreation, photography, and agricultural experience. The opening time is all year round, open all day.
