Located at the site of the Battle of Xiaoyao Ford, within the ancient Xiaoyao Ford Park, the Three Kingdoms Hefei Historical and Cultural Museum covers an exhibition area of approximately 1,355 square meters. With the theme of ‘Traveling through the Ancient Battlefield, Enjoying the Three Kingdoms,’ it is divided into three main thematic exhibition areas: Conquering the Central Plains, Dominating Xiaoyao Ford, and Hefei in the Three Kingdoms.
Utilizing digital technology and media art, the museum recreates the classic battle of the Three Kingdoms period, where a smaller force defeated a larger one – the Battle of Xiaoyao Ford. The museum offers a new display experience, featuring a multi-dimensional flight cinema that immerses visitors in the battle as if they were there, experiencing the city’s perseverance and the heroism of an era.
