Yunfeng Forest Park is a picturesque and lushly vegetated destination ideal for short leisure trips. Located approximately 4-5 kilometers from the city’s Wangjiangmen area, the Yunfeng Summit stands at an elevation of over 400 meters, featuring peculiar rock formations such as the Turtle Watching the Sea, the Beauty Mirroring, and the Pigeon Incubating Eggs.

At the base of the peak lies the Zhengdao Temple (Yunfeng Temple), in front of which there is a small pond. Legend has it that the pond contains crabs with half their shells, fish without scales, and snails without tails—creatures that were about to be cooked but were bought and released into the pond by the monks.

A hundred meters away from the temple, within a bamboo forest, lies the tomb site of Chen Hanhui, a Ming Dynasty official who died for his principles, and it is a key cultural relic protected by Linhai City.

The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
