The Xihu Foreign Affairs Cruise Company operates a fleet of Chinese-style medium-sized barges, known as the series of barges on West Lake. The dragon and phoenix barges, with golden tops, are suitable for small meetings and private wedding charters, and are the vessels used by the Foreign Affairs Department to receive distinguished guests from home and abroad each year. ‘In August, osmanthus flowers bloom everywhere, and the blooming of osmanthus brings happiness.’ The Foreign Affairs Cruise has three boats named after the city flower of Hangzhou, osmanthus, which are ‘Golden Osmanthus’, ‘Silver Osmanthus’, and ‘Jade Osmanthus’. These are double-decker luxury barges with beautiful shapes and smooth lines, suitable for receiving large domestic and international group tours.
