Located ten kilometers north of Haiyang City, Shandong Province, Tianmen Mountain stands at an elevation of over 440 meters with an area of 56 square kilometers. The scenic area, based on the route of original ecological tourism development, continuously explores historical and folk cultures, aiming to create a comprehensive tourist area that integrates historical culture experience, interactive participation, and natural ecological appreciation. Tianmen Mountain gathers the essence of a hundred miles of mountain ranges. From the peak, one can overlook the vast sea and witness the mirage; at the valley bottom, one can enjoy tens of thousands of acres of pine forests and blooming cherry blossoms. The scenic area is filled with peculiar rocks in various shapes and forms – the Sea Stabilizing Needle, the Beast Kissing Stone, the Flying Sky Stone, the Tianmen Stone, the Returning Gaze Stone, and the Three Immortals Sitting Stone, all vividly depicted as if one has stepped into a continuous scroll. The scenic area is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
